Technology! Lenovo Android Smartphone Finally Arrives in Indonesia

For the first time in Indonesia, Lenovo launched the Android-based smartphone, Lenovo A60 series EcoTech, in Jakarta. On the one hand, this is somewhat late to compete with vendors who first brought the Android operating system.

On the other hand, Lenovo is trying to present its own superiority. For example, the Lenovo A60 is equipped with Dual SIM card for GSM.


"EcoTech Lenovo A60 series offers a high-tech mobile phone while remaining economically viable," said Charles Sigarlaki, Sales & Marketing Director of PT Global Cellular Network as the representative of Lenovo Mobile in Indonesia.

Lenovo A60 uses Gingerbread Android 2.3 operating system and equipped with 650MHz processor. Although the processor capacity is small, but the A60 has a large RAM capacities, namely 2GB. Dimensions 116.5 x 59.9 x 13.2 mm with 3.5-inch screen resolution 320 x 480.

For connectivity, available Bluetooth, MicroUSB, MicroSD 8GB, and a 3.5mm headset jack. As for internet connection, available Wi-Fi, 3G and HSPA.

Though dual SIM, according to Charles for running 3G data access can only be used by a SIM card only. On Lenovo A60, and WCDMA 3G networks can only be accessed from the first SIM. "While that second SIM can only access the 2G network. Indeed, in general, dual SIM GSM smartphones such technology," added Charles.
