The number of Android apps in the Android Market is still less than the number of applications in the Apple App Store. But the gap between them narrowing.
Based on application analysis firm Distimo report, which quoted VentureBeat, the number of applications in the Android Market has reached 400,000 applications.
While in the same period, the number of applications in the Apple App Store, according to data from 148Apps.biz, reaching 540,000 applications.
Distimo noted, the rate of growth of applications in the Android Market is still slightly slower than the Apple App Store. To reach 400,000 Android Market took two months longer.
